Does the beliefs of Ahmadiyya community contradicts Quran and Ahadiths?

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the Name of Allah The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.

ALL praises are for Allah Who Has no partner. Blessings and Peace be upon the Final Messenger .

The concept of "Finality of Prophethood", is one of the fundamental beliefs without which nobody can be called a Muslim. The rejection of this concept and the belief of a messenger or revelation to come after the Seal of the Prophets Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) is open disbelief (Kufr). From the times of the Holy Prophet till today, the Muslim Ummah has unanimously agreed on the fact that this belief of the Finality of the Prophethood is fundamental to Islam and the true spirit of belief and the whole structure of Islam is built on this very belief. This is such a sensitive and central issue, that if there is even the slightest doubt deviation in it, then not only does a Muslim lose his faith but he is also excluded from the community of the followers of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w).
The Holy Quran clearly states:

"Muhammad is not the father of [any] one of your men, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and last of the prophets. And ever is Allah , of all things, Knowing."
-
[Quran: 33:40]

"This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed my favours upon you, and have
chosen for you Islam as your religion.”
[Quran: 5:3]

The religion (Islam) is already perfect, there is no need of any new Prophet.

Now let us come to the Hadiths:

Narrated Jãbir bin 'Abdulläh (r.a):
"The Prophet (SAW) said, "My example and the example of the other Prophets is that of a man who has built a house completely and excellently, except for a place of one brick. When the people entered the house, they wondered at its beauty and said, 'But for the place of this brick (how splendid the house will be)!' [So I am that brick—last (end) of all the Prophets] ."

[Sahih Bukhari: Volume 4, Page 454, Hadith # 3534]

Anas bin Malik (r.a) narrated:
"The Messenger of Allah said: "Indeed Messengership and - Prophethood have been terminated, so there shall be no Messenger after me, nor a Prophet."He(Anas bin Malik) said: "The people were concerned about that, so he [Prophet Muhammad (SAW)] said: 'But there will be Mubash-shirãt' So they said: 'O Messenger of Allah! What is Mubash-shirat?' He [Prophet Muhammad (SAW)] said: 'The Muslim's dreams, for it is a portion of the portions of Prophethood."

[Jamia Al-Tirmidhi: Volume 4, Page 318, Hadith number 2272]

This belief of the Seal of Prophethood has been proven from 100 Quranic verses and 210 Ahadith. Now the question arises that according to the Holy Quran, Prophethood has ended, so how did Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani become a prophet?

As already mentioned above, Allah himself explicitly states in the Quran that Prophethood has terminated on the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) and there shall be no Prophet after him.

The Holy Prophet is also saying in Ahadith that, “I am the final Prophet. No prophet shall come after me.”

While contrary to this, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani claims to be a prophet. It is absolutely obvious and crystal clear that Allah and His Messenger are true in their sayings. Therefore, how did Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani become a prophet and who gave him that rank? Let's analyze this.

In spite of conquering and ruling the Muslims, the British government was still fearful of the spirit of Jihad flourishing in them. They had learnt the fact from Islamic History that the glory and honour of the Muslims laid in the continuation of Jihad and their dishonour was in their abandoning it. Hence they planned to divide the Muslim Ummah and eradicate Jihad by creating a false prophet. For this purpose, they bribed a meager clerk named Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani whose family was loyal to them. In this way, the British Government with the help of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani planted the weed of Ahmadiyyat.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani himself writes:

“My religion which I openly declare, is that Islam is divided into two portions. One deals with the submission to Allah (SWT) and the other deals with submission to the government that has maintained peace and granted us asylum from the oppressors, and that is the British government."

“For twenty years, I have been preaching submission to the British government and have been advising my disciples accordingly.”

“The major portion of my life has passed in supporting and helping the British government and I have written so many books and published so many articles regarding obeying the British government and prohibition of Jihad that if all the journals and books were collected they would fill up to fifty bookshelves.”

"The benevolent Government is aware of the fact that we are from among their servants, their sympathizers and well wishers. We have come to their aid with a firm mind in every hour of need. My father was held in close and high esteem by the Government; and our services to this Government held clear distinction. I do not think that the Government has forgotten these services of ours. My father, Mirza Ghulam Murtaza, son of Mirza Ata Muhammad Al-Qadian, was a great well wisher and friend of this government and enjoyed great respect from among them. Our loyalty has been proven beyond doubt. Rather our fidelity was proven among the people and became clear to the government officials. The Government may confirm this from the officers who came to this side and lived among us; so that they may tell what sort of life we lived, and how faithful we have been in serving their Government."

"I come from a family which is out and out loyal to this government. My father, Mir Ghulam Murtaza, who was considered its well-wisher, used to be granted a chair in the Governor's Darbar (cabinet) and has been mentioned by Mr. Griffin in his 'History of the Princes of Punjab'. In 1857, he helped the British government beyond his means, that is he procured fifty (50) cavaliers and horses right during the time of the mutiny. He was considered by the government to be its loyal supporter and well-wisher. A number of testimonials of appreciation received by him from the officers have unfortunately been lost. Copies of three of them, however, which had been published a long time ago, are reproduced in the margin (in English). Then, after the death of my grandfather, my elder brother Mirza Ghulam Qadir remained occupied with service to the government and when the evil-doers encountered the forces of the British government on the highway of Tanmmun, he participated in the battle on the side of the British Government (under General Nicholson he killed several freedom fighters).  At the time of the death of my father and brother, I was sitting in the sidelines; but, since then, I have been helping the British for seventeen years with my pen."

“Remember that out of the sects of Islam, the sect for which God has made me the leader and guide carries a distinctive symbol with it. It is that this sect does not permit Jihad by way of the sword and neither shall we adopt that path in the future. Infact, this blessed sect neither openly nor secretly deems the teaching of Jihad to be permissible, and strictly considers fighting for the sake of spreading the religion to be impermissible.”

[Majmuah Ishtiharaat: Volume 3, Page # 357 by Mirza Ghulam Qadiani]

For this reason, Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal stated that, “Ahmadis (Qadiani) are traitors both to Islam and to country.” He had reached the conclusion that to expect the tree planted by the British government to bear fruit for the Muslims is utter foolishness.

Ahmadiyya is a conspiracy and political move taken by the enemies of Islam, while Mirza Qadiani tried to disguise it in a religious outfit. However, thanks to the efforts of the sincere scholars of Islam, May Allah reward them, for breaking the backbone of the movement of Ahmadiyya. Indeed they proved themselves as the rightful heirs of the Prophet (s.a.w).

Side by side to the scholars of Islam, passionate, sincere and religious minded people also kept offering their services and did not stay behind them.
"فَبُهِتَ الَّذِي كَفَرَ"
“Thereupon he who was bent on denying the truth remained dumbfounded...”                            [Quran: Chapter 2: Verse 258]

وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ ۚ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا
And say, "Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed is falsehood, [by nature], ever bound to depart."
                                  - [Quran: Chapter 17: Verse 81]

In the end, I pray that Allah accepts us and all our future generations to defend this noble mission of protecting, "Khatam-e-Nabuuwat" and accept each and every moment which has been spent for this purpose.

وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ

"And we are not responsible except for clear notification."

- [Quran: Chapter 36: Verse 17]
