Mirza in Labour?!

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

All Praise is for Allah, and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon His Final Messenger Muhammad ﷺ.

In their futile attempts to prove that Isa ﷺ has died, Ahmadis (Qadianis) like to mention the following Hadith:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) delivered a sermon and said, "O people! You will be gathered before Allah barefooted, naked and not circumcised." Then (quoting Qur'an) he said:-- "As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. A promise We have undertaken: Truly we shall do it.." (21.104) The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, "The first of the human beings to be dressed on the Day of Resurrection, will be Abraham. Lo! Some men from my followers will be brought and then (the angels) will drive them to the left side (Hell-Fire). I will say. 'O my Lord! (They are) my companions!' Then a reply will come (from Almighty), 'You do not know what they did after you.' I will say as the pious slave (the Prophet (ﷺ) Jesus) said: And I was a witness over them while I dwelt amongst them. When You did 'tawaffi' of me, You were the Watcher over them and You are a Witness to all things.' (5.117) Then it will be said, "These people have continued to be apostates since you left them."
- [Sahih Bukhari: Hadith No. 4625]

Ahmadis logic claims that because the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ will use the same wording as Isa ﷺ will use, that must mean that the meaning of 'tawaffi' for both prophets is the same. And, because the 'tawaffi' of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was death, the 'tawaffi' of Isa ﷺ must mean the same thing.

Here is an excerpt from an Ahmadi website with regards to this Hadith:

"The hadith we quote is exactly word for word, what isa (as) will say on the day of judgment and therefore the words are exactly the same which the Prophet(saw) will say and their tawaffa is also the same"
So, we gather from this explanation, that because the same words are used, the meaning of those words cannot be different.  Now, let us use this same rule on the Ahmadis themselves and see how it works, shall we?

Allah says in Surah Maryam verse 23 about Maryam (peace be upon her) :

Now, we all agree that the word 'makhad' literally means the pains of childbirth, and 'jidh-in-nakhlah' literally means the trunk of a palm tree. Even the Official Ahmadiyya translation of this ayah agrees that these words are to be taken literally with regards to Maryam (peace be upon her):

Now, let us look at a 'revelation' that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claimed to receive, as mentioned in 'Tadhkirah':

Tadhkirah: Page 89 (Direct link to the page)

Here, Mirza Ghulam Qadiani uses the same words -- 'makhad' and 'jidh-in-nakhlah' --, so according to the Ahmadi rule established earlier, these words should have the same meaning as the words in Surah Maryam. This would mean Mirza Ghulam Qadiani literally experienced labour and the pains of childbirth which drove him to an actual palm tree!

But, as Mirza Ghulam Qadiani himself shows, Ahmadis abandon their own rule when it doesn't suit them. This is why Mirza Ghulam Qadiani defined 'makhad' for himself to mean 'matters which produce dangerous consequences' and he defined 'jidh-in-nakhlah' for himself to mean 'people who are the progeny of Muslims but are Muslims only in name.'

So, the question must be asked, why is it okay for Mirza Ghulam Qadiani and his followers to claim different meanings of the words 'makhad' and 'jidh-in-nakhlah' for Mirza Ghulam Qadiani in contrast with Maryam (peace be upon her), while they say it is not possible that the meaning of 'tawaffi' could be different for Prophet Isa ﷺ and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ?

Furthermore, Ahmadis are known to change the meaning of any word they want in order to suit their deviated beliefs. I have written previously about one example of this, where Ahmadis ridiculously try to define the word 'maal,' which means wealth, to mean 'books of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad.' Click here for more information:

So, while Ahmadis feel free to apply whatever meaning they want to whatever word they want, they throw a hissy fit when Muslims interpret 'tawaffi' as 'to take up' for Isa ﷺ. Why the double standard, Ahmadis? Mirza Ghulam Qadiani and his followers claim to have a standing challenge to all Muslims -- to find just one instance from the Quran or Hadith where 'tawaffi' means 'to take up.' I have not one, not two, but THREE counter challenges for Ahmadis using the same logic:

  1. Find one instance from the Quran or Hadith where 'maal' means 'books'

  2. Find one instance from the Quran or Hadith where 'makhad' means 'matters which produce dangerous consequences'

  3.  Find one instance from the Quran or Hadith where 'jidh-in-nakhlah' means 'people who are the progeny of Muslims but are Muslims only in name.'

Ahmadis feel free to break their own rules whenever it suits their desires, and this only shows that Ahmadiyya has no foundation to stand upon.

May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon His Final Messenger Muhammad ﷺ, his family, his companions, and those that follow them until that Last Day.

May ALLAH guide Ahmadis to the light of Islam. Aameen
